xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxHow Long To Black Belt?

The American Kenpo Karate International association has always been at the forefront of progress and innovation. We are continually pushing the traditionalist envelope of thought and action, asking the tough questions:
How can we make highly proficient Black Belts in 3 to 5 years, with our innovations, our forms, and our techniques? To discovering the four master keys Rhythmic Timing patterns. To the creation of form 1 through 3, to our groundbreaking innovations in American Kenpo weapons and ground fighting, we've been true to our goal of providing real innovation that leads to higher proficiency.

What is Kenpo Karate?

Kenpo Karate is a combination of two words
Kenpo “law of the fist”  Karate “empty hands”
Kenpo Karate refers to the fact that no weapons are used; Instead, the hands, fingers, elbows, feet, knees and other parts of the body are developed and used as weapons.

Kenpo Karate is the speed and power with witch maneuvers are executed with most techniques being measured in fractions of seconds. A person proficient in this art can easily handle several men in an attack.

Although the true origin of Kenpo Karate is obscure, credit is given to Daruma, the twenty-eight Buddha from India. Daruma immigrated to China around 525 A.D.
During this Dark Age period, the public realized that they were no match for swords and maces, thus Daruma declared that parts of the body were to be hardened and developed into weapons.

Daruma though his system of self defense and applied the mental concentration of Zen meditation to the arts of the open hand. The underlying principles were the preservation of human rights which insured and promoted peace and happiness. Daruma was astern believer of peace; he decreed that each man had the right to protect himself so he made the following proclamation.

“War and killing are wrong, but so is it wrong not to be prepared to defend one’s self.
They have taken our weapons but we have our bodies
We have no knives, so make every fist a mace. With out spears every arm must be onto a spear and every open hand a sword”

Refusing or Avoiding a fight is not the sign of cowardice, especially when well versed in Kenpo Karate; such refusal is just a demonstration of respect to mankind since knowledge of Kenpo Karate will make you aware not of you own personal danger, but of the great degree of injury that can be inflicted upon an opponent. Once you are well versed in Kenpo Karate, the feeling of being able to handle yourself in most situations will soon develop a philosophical outlook an the futility of fitting.
